Western Skies RV, northern Nevada’s fastest growing, locally owned, and operated RV Dealer is expanding and has an opening for an experienced RV Service Technician. We are an award-winning RV Dealership that is always looking for quality candidates to join the team. We carry travel trailers, 5th wheels, toy haulers, truck campers and motorhomes.
As an applicant, you must have general RV repair knowledge and experience. Skills in appliance repair, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC are helpful. We provide on the job training. We also offer great benefits, paid time off and competitive pay that is based upon experience.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technicians will have knowledge of propane, electrical, plumbing, appliances, body, generator and chassis systems and the technical skills to verifying the operations of all components to ensure they are in good working order and meet the required standards.
Read and comprehend repair orders
Diagnose, repair and/or install RV accessories and components as necessary
Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance repairs and/or maintenance
Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
Ensure that the final work product meets the highest quality standards
Follow guidelines to complete all paperwork required for warranty processing and part orders
May conduct Walk Through Orientations with customers and perform other duties as directed by supervisor(s)
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
One to two years’ RV Tech experience preferred but will consider individuals with similar technical experience.
Prior experience performing PDIs is a plus
Must be able to work outside or in an uncontrolled climate environments during all seasons
Must provide own basic tools and have reliable transportation
Valid Driver License and good driving record are required
Ability to work weekends during the busy Summer months
Positive customer service is a high standard here, so having an amiable and good-natured personality is a must!
