Culligan Water is currently seeking a Bottled Water Route Driver to join our team. This person performs deliveries along a specific route as well as handles invoicing and collections when applicable. Products include, but are not limited to, 3 and 5 gallon bottles of water, 24 pack cases of water, water coolers, and bags of salt. The bottles of water can weigh close to 50lbs. When not delivering products, this person will be helping in the Bottle Water Plant and Warehouse. Additionally, drivers are expected to deliver a high degree of customer service that exceeds the expectations of customers. This is a 40+ hour a week position. Training provided where needed. Vehicles include Flatbeds and box trucks.
Responsibilities
Excellent Customer Service
Deliver water treatment products to homes and businesses in an efficient and timely manner
Communicate clearly with the Operations Manager and Route Coordinator
Prepare, process, and execute delivery orders in addition to collecting related monies and issuing invoices
Handle customer issues, complaints, and problems courteously and promptly while exhibiting an overall customer-focused style of service
Follow all safety protocols and company regulations
Consistently uphold the cleanliness standards of company vehicles and equipment
End-of-route supervisor check-ins, with daily recaps
General Bottle Water Plant duties
General Warehouse duties
Change water filters and treatment tanks
Occasionally drive within 150 miles of Reno and back on the same day. This will include driving into California
Comfortably drive up to a 26' Flatbed or Box truck
Work overtime as needed
Qualifications
High school Diploma or equivalent GED
1-3 years of route experience preferred, although not required
A valid driver’s license
Ability to use a mobile device or tablet
Detail-oriented, highly organized
Able to effectively engage with strangers and establish professional relationships
Excellent communication skills with customers and teammates
Clean and professional appearance
Able to regularly lift 50 lbs
Reliable transportation to and from work in all weather conditions
Mechanical aptitude
