As a Logistics Specialist II, you prepare our logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. You'll be responsible for routing, documenting, and coordinating shipping logistics, maintaining our records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals, and tracking logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of our storage facilities. You'll coordinate shipping activities which adhere to state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. Ship/receive material
Cycle counts
Pick material for production
Operate forklift
Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps
Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity
Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and telling the difference between colors
Frequently lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
Responsible for the safety and security of people or property
Operate or supervise vehicles, heavy or dangerous equipment or machinery
Qualifications You Must Have:
High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
A higher level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Basic understanding of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques
Experience with inventory databases
Qualifications We Prefer:
Ability to operate a Forklift
Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS
Understanding of Shelf Life
