This position can be located and/or provide services at any of our Rural Clinics locations. Rural Clinics provides an array of outpatient behavioral health services for both adults and children in 16 clinics which are located in 12 counties across Rural Nevada. Services are generally provided Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Services assist individuals to achieve self-sufficiency and recovery and follow Agency procedures and reimbursement guidelines. Rural Clinics provides ongoing training including release time to attend training not Agency-sponsored. This position provides direct psychiatric nursing services for consumers, including assessments and therapeutic interventions; organizes and oversees medication services including tele-medication services for prescribers; Client and family education on medications, health related issues; Monitors effectiveness of treatment and side effects; provides consultation and education to consumers, the community, and other service providers. Out of state applicants must have a temporary license as a Registered Nurse issued by the Nevada State Board of Nursing at the time of appointment and must obtain permanent licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Nevada State Board of Nursing as a condition of continuing employment.Special RequirementsA pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required.
