This recruitment may be used to fill current and future vacancies as they occur in the following program (s): Adult Protective Services (APS).APS Social Workers are responsible for assisting vulnerable adults, age 18 to 59, in addition to persons 60 years and older who are abused, neglected, exploited, isolated, or abandoned by investigating, providing, or arranging for services to alleviate and prevent further maltreatment while safeguarding their civil liberties. Social Workers complete visits in the community and long-term care facilities and document the investigations and interventions. Social Workers collaborate with community partners including Law Enforcement, Legal Services and Licensing Boards.
