Nevada Copper (TSX:NCU) is a copper producer and owner of the Pumpkin Hollow copper project. Located in Nevada, USA, Pumpkin Hollow has substantial reserves and resources including copper, gold, and silver. Its two fully permitted projects include the high-grade underground mine and processing facility, which is now in the production stage, and a large-scale open pit project, which is advancing towards feasibility status. Purpose of the Position: The Mill Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the effective and safe operation of equipment and infrastructure including Ore Reclaim, Grinding, Flotation, Concentrate Load-Out, Filtering and Dry Stack Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) operations with an approximate eight (8) person crew including maintenance and sample preparation personnel on a rotating day shift/night shift basis. Work practices must comply with local government and statutory requirements, in addition to company safety, health and environmental standards and procedures. Accountability: The Mill Operations Supervisor reports directly to the Process Superintendent on all aspects of process unit operations, including Ore Reclaim, Grinding, Flotation, Thickening, Filtration, Paste Plant and Dry Stack. Responsibilities and Duties: Projects and Operations Support:

Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety by maintaining a clean work area and ensuring that unsafe work practices are avoided through regular communication.

Supervise, mentor and train the work force to achieve consistent operation from the facilities, in conjunction with cross shifts, achieving world class levels of performance. Define and communicate work requiring follow up by others with respect to unsafe work conditions, equipment repair, or conditions that may limit production capacity.

Inspect the work area and ensure that operator checks are consistent and thorough, to ensure compliance with company safety and environment standards and regulatory requirements.

Promote a work environment that embraces discussion, change, innovation and problem solving.

Provide leadership by administering fair and consistent personnel policies and support ongoing employee development and performance reviews on an as required basis.

Maintain communication with the mining department on shift and remain willing to support the transfer of underground ore via the moveable radial stacker as required.

Provide leadership in the effective implementation and support of a work order-based, preventive maintenance program.

Ensure that all required documentation has been competed correctly, Area exams, Equipment Pre-Ops and 5 Point cards

Health and Safety:

Ensure that all safety procedures and regulatory guidelines are followed.

Coordinate daily start of shift safety meetings with their respective crews and participate in regular on-site health and safety meetings and risk reviews as required.

Support the site safety culture through leadership and regularly engaging with and holding the workforce accountable for safe work practices

Knowledge/Education:

The Mill Operations Supervisor must be technically proficient with the following attributes:

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum three (3) years prior experience in a supervisory role

Proficient knowledge and operating experience involving grinding, flotation, thickening and filtering.

Experience with U.S. Mining Regulatory Agencies

Demonstrates a genuine passion to provide exceptional leadership, coaching and mentoring to team.

Skills/Abilities:

The Mill Operations Supervisor must demonstrate the following skills:

General knowledge of health & safety, mining, maintenance and a clear understanding of accounting codes for budgetary purposes

Knowledge of all phases of copper processing as it pertains to associated equipment.

Knowledge and experience developing policies and procedures for the organization.

Able to quickly identify and correct operational problems.

Effectively communicate with all support groups.

Able to work independently, as well as an effective member of the management team.

Well-developed communication skills with an ability to interact at all levels within the company.

Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions of position.

The incumbent must demonstrate the following physical demands:

Lift and potentially carry up to 50 lbs.

Operate a vehicle with a valid driver’s license

Climb stairwells and be capable of working on elevated platforms

Walk on uneven ground

Periodically work in adverse weather conditions

Sit for extended periods of time

Stay alert during periods of inactivity

The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.

The ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hand, and wrists.

Work Schedule and Personal Protective Equipment:

The incumbent is expected to work on a rotating 12-hour day shift/night shift schedule. Personal Protective Equipment required for the field work portion of this position includes, but is not limited to, hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots. All equipment must be MSHA approved as applicable.
