This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program.  The person in this position will represent International SOS and provide services outlined below: International SOS is looking for an individual who is experienced as a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiology Physician who is fellowship trained in either body imaging, Musculoskeletal Radiology, or Neuroradiology to provide services to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Orlando VA Healthcare System.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for providing imaging or Musculoskeletal reads, including, but not limited to CT scans, Ultrasounds, and General Radiology (plain films). Communication of test results for patient receiving care in accordance with VHA Directive 1088, Communicating Test Results to Providers and Patients. Provide consultation with and instruction to referring physicians regarding appropriate indications for CT, general radiology films, ultrasound, and radiologic procedures for expeditious and clinically appropriate work-up. Follow all established medication policies and procedures. Provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinated with the next care setting for all emergency department patients.
