The Registered Nurse (RN) provides a supervised, safe, therapeutic environment for the developmentally disabled, and/or mentally ill in long-term care and acute settings. The RN is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of both direct and indirect care. As an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, the nurse delivers patient and community-centered care, advocating for patients and their families by acting as a liaison and upholding their rights and beliefs. Utilizing evidence-based medical practices, the RN effectively manages unexpected and emergent situations, promptly addressing and treating a variety of injuries and illnesses with professionalism and expertise.International SOS Government Medical Services is recruiting Registered Nurses (RN) to support our medical staffing projects in New Hampshire. RNs may work in temporary, short-term, or long-term jobs. Our recruiters will get in touch with you to check your availability, readiness, interest in the job and to provide you with more details on our vacancies.Key Responsibilities:Conduct physical assessments of patients, including psychiatric or admissions.Develop and implement individualized care plans.Participate in Treatment Team Meetings to maximize positive results through interdisciplinary care.Administer medications and monitor their effects.Provide therapeutic interventions and crisis management.Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.Manage delegated tasks to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and health management.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.Advocate for patient rights and ensure a safe treatment environment.Initiate protocols for emergent situations where immediate action is necessary to prevent harm or injury.Respond to inquiries of family members, advocates and other interested parties, insuring adherence to the confidentiality laws, and HIPPA Regulations.Testify in commitment hearing when found appropriate and necessary
