Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityThis is an opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and strengthening risk and resilience capability across the University of Auckland.As a Senior Risk Advisor within the Risk Office, you will provide subject matter expertise across the University’s risk and resilience portfolio, supporting the development and ongoing implementation of frameworks, programmes and practices that enable effective risk management.  This role will suit a professional of strong intermediate experience looking to progress to the next level.Working closely with stakeholders across faculties and service divisions, you will help embed risk awareness, support decision‑making and ensure the University is well prepared to respond to disruption and change.Key responsibilities include:Leading the ongoing development and implementation of the University’s Business Continuity, Enterprise Risk and Incident Management programmesProviding advice and guidance to stakeholders on risk frameworks, registers and mitigation strategiesFacilitating risk workshops, training sessions and capability‑building initiativesSupporting the development of risk reporting, analysis and insights for senior leadershipContributing to resilience planning, incident response coordination and continuous improvement activitiesThis role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse organisation, building strong relationships and helping to shape a proactive, capability‑driven approach to risk and resilience.For more information, please see Position DescriptionThis is a full-time Permanent role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday). He kōrero mōu | About you You are a confident and well‑rounded risk professional who enjoys working across complex organisations and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
