Bring your passion and feel the energyPurpose of role:The Head of Network and Infrastructure Transformation is a pivotal, senior technical leadership role responsible for defining and executing the strategic roadmap for the organisationʼs core network and infrastructure environments, with a specific focus on the strategic uplift of Endeavourʼs 1,750 stores and 360 hotels. This role requires a hands-on technical expert who will not only lead strategy but will be deeply embedded in the delivery of complex, large-scale transformation programs, ensuring platforms are secure, resilient, and aligned with future business growth and digital initiatives.

Strategy and Vision● Define, own, and continually refine the end-to-end network and infrastructure strategy across the Dan Murphy's/BWS stores and ALH hotels environment.● Translate business objectives into a tangible, multi-year infrastructure and network transformation program, coordinating with architecture, driving the service delivery model, investment planning, and program delivery.● Drive standardisation and innovation, including the adoption of automation and modern networking solutions, to improve service efficiency and scalability.● Develop and maintain an Innovation Lab to test emerging technologies across the Stores and Hotels operations (including Point of Sale, Retail media, Electronic Shelf Labeling, Customer Loyalty solutions, CCTV, FRT, and many others)2. Transformation and Delivery Leadership● Serve as the technical lead and decision-maker throughout the transformation lifecycle, providing technical leadership and direction to support the delivery of new and enhanced infrastructure.● Oversee the entire delivery of complex, large-scale infrastructure projects, migrations, and upgrades, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.● Lead the management of infrastructure transition processes to ensure the seamless deployment and integration of new technologies with existing systems.● Partner closely with Programme and Project Managers to manage, Architects, and mitigate technical delivery risks and dependencies across all infrastructure workstreams.3. Operational Excellence and Governance● Deliver the strategy for network and infrastructure services, ensuring high availability, cost effectiveness, performance, and security across all platforms.● Manage program and operational budgets, contracts, and vendor performance, focusing on cost-effectiveness, delivery, and service quality.● Establish and implement technical policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with IT security, audit, and regulatory requirements.4. People and Stakeholder Management● Lead, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a high-performance, expert-level technical culture.● Manage cross-functional collaboration and communication with senior leadership, business units, and other IT departments (e.g., Security, Application teams, Business operations, Formats) to align infrastructure capabilities with organisational goals.● Act as the primary point of escalation for major technical incidents and complex infrastructure-related issues.
