Position Details:

Job Title: Java Software Engineer

Location: Merrimack, NH

Duration: 6+ months(+extension)





Team

As a Software Engineer within the, you will be encouraged to work closely with application owners, architecture and business sponsors to review requirements, build technical designs and implement solutions in an Agile environment. The team fills an important role providing expertise that spans the breadth and depth of the technology and functional domains that support customers and internal business partners.



The Expertise We're Looking For


  • BS or above in Computer Science or related field 5+ years web development experience with solid understanding of Java/Spring/Struts

  • Exposure to Agile development methodology

  • Experience with one or more popular JavaScript toolkits (Angular 10+)

  • Proven experience crafting, building, and deploying applications in a DevOps environment using CI/CD tools; experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy are a plus Proven knowledge with Java and the Open Source stack technologies Code Quality/Coverage Tools (Sonar, JaCoCo or equivalent) preferred

  • You have excellent collaboration and communication skills

  • The Skills You Bring Ability to work in a fast paced, highly matrix environment to achieve group goals

  • Desire and aptitude for learning innovative technologies

  • Previous experience using business requirements to develop technical designs and define architectural strategies and solutions Follow standard methodologies for code development Proven experience integrating with APIs with a solid understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services
