Job Details
Responsibilities include:
Read and interpret complicated blueprints
Writing CNC programs and producing detailed setup sheet documentation
Develop CNC programs using Mastercam and Solidworks
Perform 1st piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure parts meet customer requirements
Assist with setting up and proving out jobs and small production runs
Responsible for maintaining quality and safety standards, housekeeping, and process integrity
Monitoring calibration of all measuring equipment used and monitoring machinery and tools to ensure safe correct and optimum performance
Maintain the workflow and perform quality audits as required to ensure that the product meets or exceeds the customer specifications
Maintain an unrelenting focus on constant process improvement
Providing work holding and fixture designs to support the necessary setups
Participating in program prove out for error checking and run time reduction
Conduct set-up and cycle time reduction projects
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of CNC programming in a production-manufacturing environment
Experience with Solidworks
Experience with Mastercam x9 or newer
Must have experience with 3 and 5-axis vertical machining centers and live tool lathes
Experience interpreting drawings with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
5+ years of experience with basic inspection practices
Experience with Tesa Hite or Micro Hite gauges
Experience with CMM - CMM programming a plus
