If you are a friendly, motivated person, with a passion to serve others, the Omni Mount Washington Resort may be your perfect match.Job DescriptionTo create a positive, dynamic image for the hotel with customers, guests and the community through local, regional, national and global efforts as necessary. Contribute the positive financial success of the hotel through strategic tactical communications efforts. Develops, coordinates, and manages public relations activities for organization by performing target communication to media targets that will promote and distribute relevant information about hotel functions, events, personnel and other activities that create positive impressions about the hotel and brand. Responsibilities

Work with DOSM and Marketing Team to d evelop media programs and act as designated company spokesperson with the local and regional media including crisis communications plan and primary point of contact

Work with DOSM and Marketing Team on developing PR Plan including objectives and strategies , including handling all media visits, press releases, marketing materials, special photography, media interviews and follow up

Work with DOSM and ASM to effectively Manage all 3rdparty agencies.

Initiate and maintain positive relationships with local, national, and international media.

Create positive, strong presence with targeted contacts in local community (including media and travel association ) by participating in civic and professional organizations .

Entertain and inform media outlets of all relevant happenings at hotel by building trusted relationships.

Work with the Marketing team to u pdate, and manage content posted to resort website, 3rd party property listings, media outlets, tourism newsletters, advertisers, etc.

Work with DOSM and Marketing Team to d evelop and executes content (video, photography, etc) for all social media channels.

Conduct Hotel historical tours M-F for hotel guests and upon request conduct tours with local school groups, associate orientation, private VIP tours and assist the Sales Team with site tours as need.

Be Member and resorts primary point of contact for NH State Travel, Discover New England, Ski New Hampshire etc., and attend their events as applicable.

Work with Catering and Conference Services on Legacy Catering Events (CF/ Glen Miller/ Law Enforcement / Hospital Galas ) existing and build additional events within local, regional and state community with goal of 6-8 events per year both legacy and new programs and partnerships.

Be primary point of contact with White Mountain Attractions, Local and regional Chamber of Commerce organizations and attend their events as applicable.

QualificationsThe individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:

BA/BS in marketing, communications, journalism.

Basic image editing skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools

Minimum 5+ years experience in a public relations related role, preferably for a luxury brand.

Hospitality industry knowledge a strong plus

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.

Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Most tasks are performed in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leader.

Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, use of the Microsoft Office programs – Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Experience in Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus.

Video production and photography knowledge preferred.

Aptitude and eagerness to understand E-Commerce, Mobile, Content Marketing and Social Media

Ability to multi-task in demanding/quick turn environment, adhering to strict deadlines.

Proven success of building strategic campaigns and solving business queries

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Motivated self-starter with optimistic outlook
