With a welcoming beer garden, a cosy fireplace and a family- and dog-friendly atmosphere, there's plenty to make guests feel at home.As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager to drive standards, support your team and make the most of the opportunities ahead.You'll be responsible for:Leading from the front: Support the day-to-day running of the pub, setting high standards and leading by example.Creating memorable experiences: Make sure every guest receives a warm welcome and enjoys outstanding food, drink and service.Developing your team: Coach, motivate and support colleagues, helping them grow in confidence and deliver their best.Driving business performance: Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve profitability and build a loyal customer base.Bringing new ideas to life: Help develop and deliver events planned for next year, creating reasons for guests to visit and return.Maintaining high standards: Ensure the pub is safe, clean, welcoming and compliant, with a strong focus on service and operational excellence.Supporting the General Manager: Work together to achieve business goals, strengthen team performance and make the most of the recent investment.
