Description Robert Half has a current opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Based out of the Concord, New Hampshire area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary opening. Further career growth and quick advancement is possible in this dynamic department. The Accounts Payable Clerk position will require to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.Your responsibilities
Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
Provide customer service to internal business partners
Assist with internal and external audits as needed
Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Execute full-cycle A/P
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis Requirements - Reconciliations experience preferred
Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
Deep understanding of month end closings
Knowledge of data entry
Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
Detailed and have the ability work independently
