Graduate Consultant - Water QualityFull Time - PermanentThis role requires the applicant to live within a 30-minute radius of PortsmouthThe primary purpose of the role will be to attend and investigate water pollution incidents; undertake field-based monitoring and collect environmental samples for laboratory analysis across the Southern Water region.Key tasks and responsibilitiesThe postholder will attend and investigate water pollution incidents across the Southern Water regionThe postholder will undertake field monitoring works including water quality measurements and samplingThe postholder will undertake desk-based data entry after collecting data in the fieldThe postholder will undertake technical report writing in response to water pollution incidents, time limited in accordance with client requirementsThe postholder will maintain all equipment needed for site and maintain cleanliness of vehicle to a high standard and inform line manager if new equipment is neededThe postholder will provide accurate and timely information to line managementThe postholder will support the team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices at all levelsThe postholder may be asked to attend monthly team meetings with client and contribute where appropriateAny other duties for which the post holder is qualified and able to carry out.
