Job DescriptionContract - Technical WriterKelly Services is hiring a Contract Technical Writer for our client in Keene NH.Working in a professional, fast-paced IT environment, individuals in this position will write support documentation for the patent application process for a series of inventions. Must be a disciplined self-starter.Responsibilities:
Research technical inventions.
Analyze inventions to discern their features and benefits.
Interface with SMEs, legal team, and end users.
Using an existing template, write, edit, and publish the patent support documentation.
Perform peer edits.
RequirementsQualified candidates must have:
Minimum of five years technical writing experience.
Ability to complete critical tasks independently with a sense of urgency.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Expertise with Adobe Acrobat.
Ability to understand technical software products.
Aptitude for learning assigned technologies at a high level.
Flexibility to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to adapt to a fast changing environment.
Exceptional written communication skills.
Sharp attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
