To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!Job Duties:The Administrative Assistant is a dedicated and focused individual who supports the Program Management Office and excels at prioritizing, completing multiple tasks simultaneously and following through to achieve goals.
In addition to secretarial duties (filing, taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements)
Provides administrative support to executive staff with office management
Budgeting, personnel records and payroll
May be required to work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials
Possesses Intermediate to excellent competency of Microsoft Office suite, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Assist with implementation of Annual Benefits such as insurance changes request and enrollment.
Facilitate and assist with New Hire/onboarding process to include: fingerprinting for federal background investigation, pre-hire medical/drug screening of new hires and interview placement and set up.
Provide support to candidates/employees to ensure successful completion as they undergo Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (eQip), for federal background investigation
Greeting company visitors, answering department phone calls and relay correctly relay messages
Coordinate and maintain roster/reports for various departmental functions
Complete employment verification; assist with general employment inquiries giving assistance as needed to provide quality customer service
Distributes incoming mail to include employee’s biweekly paycheck stubs
Assist with Payroll and Billing as needed
Maintain confidentiality of staff benefits and payroll as well as administrative information
All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
US citizen
Minimum of 2 years of experience in office administration and/or customer service
Associates Degree or substantial experience in lieu of missing college credits
Pass a criminal background and consumer credit check (no criminal record) and all pre-employment and random drug tests
Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance if necessary
At least 21 years of age
Possess a valid state driver's license
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), database software, E-mail, and Internet
Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language, including ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms
Must have excellent communication and writing skills
Demonstrate an ability to work with a diverse population of people, including people of different cultures, with different values and lifestyles; with a cross cultural perspective
