Part-time Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Part-time Accounts Payable Specialist in Manchester, New Hampshire, 03104, United States. The primary function of this role is to manage financial transactions related to accounts payable processes within our industry. The individual will be tasked with processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and resolving any issues that may arise. Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process invoices related to various transactions. Verify the accuracy of billing data and ensure all outgoing payments are correctly documented. Maintain proper communication with vendors regarding the status of payments. Identify and reconcile any discrepancies in the accounts payable processes. Collaborate with internal departments such as purchasing and accounting to ensure smooth operations. Uphold adherence to company policies and procedures in all transactions. Ensure timely payments to all vendors to maintain the financial health of the organization. Keep accurate records of all transactions for future reference. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required Capacity to enter invoices accurately and efficiently Proven experience in a similar role is preferable Strong numerical skills and attention to detail Ability to work part-time hours, with flexibility as needed Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles Proficiency in Office Suite, particularly Excel, is desirable Experience with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Strong organizational skills for maintaining clear, accurate financial records Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Excellent communication skills for liaising with vendors and staff High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field is a plus Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make decisions based on data Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
