Description
Robert Half has an immediate need for a Help Desk Analyst. You will thrive at solving problems in a dynamic and rapidly-changing work environment as a Help Desk Analyst. Due to this Help Desk Analyst role having a large amount of visibility within the company, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the department and organization. This Help Desk Analyst role is located in the Nashua, New Hampshire area and is a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity.
What you get to do every day
- Help and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups
- Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
- Pinpoint recurring technical issues and present solutions to address the root of the problems
- Contribute IT support for productivity software, operating systems, and a variety of other applications used internally
Requirements
- Experience in user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment
- Basic networking concepts
- Well-founded grasp of Active Directory
- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
- Good understanding of Hypervisor
- Earlier work involving Network Devices
- Wide ranging experience with Linux
- Previous experience working with User Account Management
- General familiarity with Password Changes
- Microsoft Technologies experience
- Microsoft Windows Server experience
- Practical knowledge of Password Reset
- Expertise in Microsoft Office 365
- Microsoft System experience preferred
- Comptia A+ experience desired
- Quality experience with Basic Troubleshooting
- IT support ticketing system experience desired
- Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively
- Proven experience in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications
