Job Description

Broadridge is growing! We are seeking an Operations Analyst within Global Operations with Canadian Settlements experience.

In this role, you will focus on the day-to-day resolution of complex issues and execution of complex international securities settlements transactions. You will be responsible for taking the executed order from the point of execution to final settlement. Most importantly, our Global Operations keeps important trade information so that counterparties can agree on the terms, match and confirm trade details, agree to the procedures for settling a transaction, calculate settlement obligations and send out settlement instructions to brokers, custodians, and the Central Securities Depositories. This role would join a team of 15 associates in the U.S (NY & NJ) as well as 75 associates in India. Are you looking to join a creative and dynamic team? This is a temporary, contract role.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for facilitating settlement obligations and understanding matching cut off time’s within the Canadian Market
  • Raise client issues and complaints on operational matters to higher-level management, when necessary
  • Understand standard settlement instructions and connect with custodians and counterparties on pre-matching required
  • Create and update procedures for training purposes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree/equivalent experience preferred
  • Canadian Settlements expertise and proven knowledge of operations products and processes
  • Broadridge Gloss System experience and/or Series 99 preferred
  • A self-starter with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and multi-task
  • Quick-learner that can adapt to a growing business
  • Ability to maintain a positive relationship with clients and internal associates alike
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
  • Strong customer service orientation & strong prioritization and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
