Join Henning Larsen’s New York office for our 2025 Summer internship program! We’re seeking passionate, design-driven students pursuing degrees in architecture and urbanism. As a design intern in our New York City studio, you will actively contribute to our North American projects. Interns play a key role in conceptual design, competitions and early-phase development of exciting projects and research. You will collaborate closely with senior architects and lead designers, contributing ideas that shape our work.What are we offering?Joining our New York office, you will be part of a company working with international projects of all scales and sizes. From concert halls and university buildings, masterplans, headquarters, and sustainable housing, you will be a part of an organization with a creative culture and history of delivering award-winning architecture.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:Work with senior and intermediate team members to develop design.Demonstrate an inquisitive and creative approach to solving design problems, with the ability to translate them into professional documentsDevelop familiarity with consultant coordinationEffectively self-manage time and workload to meet project and task deadlinesProvide research assistance for topics such as site context or material and systems selectionPreparing and building physical site and study modelsWhat are we looking for?As our new Design Intern, we believe your starting point will be:Current, continuing students in an accredited bachelor’s or master’s program for architecture or related fieldStudents who are inquisitive and creative in design and technical solutions with the ability to translate them into professional documentsDemonstrably strong iterative design approachEnthusiastic and collaborative when engaging with team membersAgility and flexibility - must be a team player that can handle multiple tasksHave practical knowledge of Rhino, Adobe Suite, Revit, 2d sketching, 3d modeling and physical model makingKnowledge of Enscape. V-Ray, Grasshopper, 3ds Max, Navisworks, Solibri, scripting and programming a plusExcellent verbal and communication skillsMust be authorized to work in the USAvailable to work in person in New York CityFluent in EnglishIt is our ambition to pioneer sustainable change through our work.
