Position OverviewThe Ward Law Group is seeking a high-performing Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our New York office.This role is designed for attorneys who are capable of handling cases end-to-end — from pre-litigation strategy through litigation and into trial preparation (and trial where applicable). Our attorneys are not siloed; they are expected to own their cases, drive outcomes, and deliver results.Key ResponsibilitiesFull-cycle case handling from pre-litigation through resolution, including trial preparation and supportConduct early case strategy, liability assessment, and investigation, including notice requirements (e.g., municipal cases)Manage a high-volume caseload independently with appropriate support staffDraft and file pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal memorandaTake and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and expertsPrepare for and attend mediations, hearings, and court appearancesCollaborate with experts, including report drafting and case developmentNegotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counselPrepare cases for trial and actively support or participate in trial litigationProvide exceptional client service while maintaining consistent communication throughout the case lifecycle
