We’ve got a lot to do.This position will work morning show hours, Monday – Friday 2am – 10am ET.This position is represented by the NewsGuild-CWA NY. The bulk of the job:Work closely with Producers and other members of the show team to find and edit the best video, sound and graphics for assigned storiesKeep a constant eye on show rundowns to make sure video and graphics are in place, accurate and currentPartner with artists and producers to generate creative, thoughtful graphics for broadcast – presenting information in a way that boosts understandingPitch smart and engaging stories for daily and future segments that will resonate with our audienceHelp research and fact check stories with speed and accuracyCheck and double check your workCollaborate with reporters, anchors and colleaguesAdhere to NBC News standards and practices
