A Server coordinates the entire service station and communicates with front of the house and back of the house personnel to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. Reports to the Restaurant Manager.Greets guests and presents them with the menuInforms guests of specials, menu changes, answers questions regarding food, beverages and allergiesReceives food and beverage orders from guests and relays to kitchen staff and bartender using a POS systemCommunicates with the hosts, table support team, kitchen staff and bartenders to coordinate stationsPresents, opens and pours wine and beer when serving guestsAssists table support team with stocking work stations, removing and resetting used dishes/silverwareAssists with cash register at counter-service restaurantsPerforms other duties as required or assigned
