This Senior Paralegal in Visa’s Legal and Compliance group will be part of the team that works on Visa’s global M&A transactions and investments in support of Visa’s corporate development and venture investments teams.  A primary focus of the role will be working collaboratively with other members of the M&A and Ventures legal team, Visa’s commercial lawyers and other stakeholder teams within the company to project manage the legal, regulatory and compliance portions of M&A integration, including pre-closing integration planning and post-closing integration execution.  This job may be based in New York, NY, Foster City, CA or Atlanta, GA.      Responsibilities:Coordinate with other members of the M&A and Ventures legal team, Visa’s commercial lawyers and other stakeholder teams within the company, both in the US and internationally, to project manage the legal, regulatory and compliance aspects of integration, integration planning and other portions of transactions.Help coordinate due diligence efforts and support review of materials. Support signing and closing mechanics in connection with M&A and Ventures transactions, including by coordinating, soliciting and tracking signature pages.Help prepare pre-signing integration plans and track post-closing execution of integration plans.Work with the Corporate Governance team to support entity integration efforts.Schedule meetings and calls.Manage and track inventory of diligence and integration-related requests and questions and identify and help advance lagging workstreams.Assist with invoicing process.Assist with preparation of legal documents.Design, recommend, and implement new processes and procedures to increase group efficiency and organization and the effectiveness of future integration efforts.Special projects, as needed.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
