Our award-winning AECOM Sports and Venues practice is seeking a Senior Architectural Project Manager for immediate employment based in either of our three offices, located in Kansas City, MO, Los Angeles, CA and New York, NY. The candidate is to lead and execute interdisciplinary projects with a focus on Sports, and Public Assembly, including professional and collegiate arenas, stadia and coliseums, recreation centers. Our Sports practice is an established leader in the market with over three decades of success. Services include architecture, interiors, building and system engineering, urbanism, and planning (inclusive of landscape design), strategy +, economics, technology solutions, asset advisory, and cost and program management.  This diverse team assists our clients from strategy through project realization, creating positive outcomes for those who occupy and use the buildings and environments we help to create.Job Summary/ResponsibilitiesThe role will be responsible for managing scope, schedule, and budget of projects across the project lifecycle - from conceptual studies to full design and construction administration. Responsible for planning and managing project staffing requirements, reporting project performance, and identifying and addressing scope creep, schedule, or quality issues to ensure a successful delivery of assigned projects.Working with interdisciplinary technical leads in coordinated successful execution of projects in design and constructionEngaging with both Team leaders, Client Contacts, and Partner firmsReviewing and negotiating contracts and preparing fee proposalsManaging and leading teams and staffSuccessfully developing strategy, mitigation efforts, proposals, contract review, and leading project teams to execute projectsManaging and supporting all technical, financial, and client satisfaction areas using established processes and toolsSupport business development efforts as required to engage new client opportunitiesManaging teams across business linesManaging subconsultant scope, fees, deliverables, and performanceCoordinating internal resources and third parties/subcontractors for the execution of projectsEnsuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetAssisting in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibilityDeveloping and monitoring a detailed project plan to track progress and identify shortfalls in a timely mannerManaging changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs to minimize riskMeasuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniquesReporting and escalating to management as neededManaging the relationship with the client and all stakeholdersPerforming risk management to minimize project risksMaintaining project documentation control
