We are seeking an experienced Accounting Associate / Bookkeeper for a Manufacturing company in Derry, NH. This position will move fast so must be able to start within 2 weeks if offered the position.
PT (min 30 hrs) or FT (40 hrs) Accounting Asst / Bookkeeper for a manufacturing company in Derry, NH. This position has the ability to be hybrid or fully remote, your choice.

Must Haves to be candidate for this position:
1) Must have at least 5 proven years in a similar role or hold an Associate Degree in Accounting
2) You must know how to use Sage 100 or 300 (Will not accept "I can learn software easily and quickly" applicants)
3) You must know MS Excel well - able to understand how formulas work and what happens when you delete a formula, able to create basic formulas and spreadsheets, pivot tables, v-lookups
4) You must understand and possess basic accounting principles for A/P, A/R and G/L (Know the difference between debits and credits and COA).
5) Have the ability to work independently without constant supervision and guidance. I am hiring you to do a job not to train you to be an accountant.
6) Good understanding and comfortable using multiple software platforms. Our main software is Sage 100 but we use multiple software in the background (i.e., MS Office, Teams, multiple online platforms like Amazon, PayPal just to make a few)
Primary Job Description and Duties: 1st in line duties
1) A/R - Account billing, reconciliations, ACH, CC and payment posting for multiple entities/multiple platforms
2) Collections - Emailing, calling customers past due, working between multiple platforms to deactivate services
3) A/P - Posting expenses, reconciliations
Assisting the Controller Duties: 2nd in line duties (to name a few but there will be more as you get comfortable in your position)
1) G/L - Asst with month-end and posting pre-composed entries.
2) Will be asked to create new customer and vendor accounts
3) Will update online shared Google Excel docs & Post daily cash receipts for online subscription payments
