High Mowing School, a private K-12 school in rural southern NH, is accepting applications for several part-time music teachers for the 2025-26 school year.
Middle School Choral teacher for grades 6-8 (2 periods per week)
Middle School Recorder teacher for grades 6-8 (2 periods per week)
Middle School Ukulele teacher for grades 6-8 (2 periods per week)
Our preferred candidates are experienced with teaching groups of middle school students, have experience working in a private school environment, and are passionate about sharing their love of music with elementary and middle school students. Patient, organized, and dependable, they are committed to excellence in the classroom, love working with children, and are eager to contribute to a strong community of dedicated teachers and students.
Requirements
Choral Teacher: Experience teaching choral singing to middle school students, able to play simple piano accompaniment
Recorder Teacher: Experience teaching soprano, alto, tenor, and bass recorders
Ukulele Teacher: Experience teaching ukulele and/or guitar to middle school students
Organized, dependable, punctual
Able to work collaboratively
Passionate and authentic
