900 Degrees is now hiring full and part time cooks. Our Restaurant is looking to hire cooks who will be responsible for preparing delicious dishes for our guests. Duties will include prepping meals by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, cooking meals/pizzas, checking ingredients for freshness, and arranging and garnishing the dishes. You will be responsible for ensuring that the kitchen and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained. Training available.
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Skills
Proven cooking experience is a plus.
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industry’s best practices
