UNTRUCK’d Street Food Kitchen is a locally owned casual restaurant, in downtown Berwick, Maine. We offer counter service for in-house dining, takeout, & delivery. We are looking for a confident and charismatic part-time counter-server to join our team. We are open Wed-Sun for lunch and dinner. This position would be part-time, ranging from 20-30 hours per week. Weekends are required. Starting pay is $15-$17/hour depending on experience, plus tips!
Must be 18 or older for this role.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
Take customer orders (phone & in person)
Operate POS, cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
Answer customer questions and provide information about products or services
Accurately package orders for pickup/delivery
Light-duty cleaning, sweeping & mopping.
Requirements:
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with patience and professionalism
Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
Attention to detail for accurate cash handling and pricing
Reliability is a must
Schedule flexibility
Preferred
Previous experience as a server or cashier in a similar role is preferred
Strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions
Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service
Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
Knowledge of food preparation and restaurant operations is an advantage
