This position requires shift work, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Mountain View Community, Carroll County's skilled nursing facility, has an immediate opening for a Dietary Aide. Responsibilities include preparing cold and special food items for residents following preparation and nutrition instructions, assembling and delivering trays to residents, prepare food for pickup by corrections officers for jail inmates, maintaining cleanliness of workstation by following proper sanitation and food handling guidelines, work in the dish room to include scraping plates, loading and unloading dishwasher, and washing/sanitizing pots and pans, and perform assigned daily sanitation routines and assigned projects.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or the equivalent, a positive attitude that focuses on good customer service, the ability to follow written or verbal instructions, to express or exchange ideas verbally or in writing, perform simple mathematical calculations, work with frequent interruptions and respond appropriately to unexpected issues, lift and carry up to 25 pounds and tolerate temperatures of up to 100 degrees. Must possess manual dexterity to operate and breakdown equipment for cleaning purposes.
