Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and personable Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure excellent service. As a Supervisor at Flatbread Company, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing the shift, ensuring productivity and efficiency, and fostering a positive work environment. You will work closely with upper management to implement strategies, maintain high standards, and support the team in meeting goals and deadlines. This role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for creating a welcoming environment for both guests and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and productivity.
Provide regular feedback of shifts and team members.
Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
Resolve workplace issues, provide support to team members, and foster a positive team culture.
Ensure every guest has a positive dining experience. Address any customer concerns promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
Process payments, manage cash registers, and ensure accurate daily cash handling. Complete end-of-day reporting and communicate any discrepancies or issues to management.
Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday nights are a must.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a supervisory role in a casual or fast-paced restaurant setting
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and motivate a team to meet goals and deadlines.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, safety regulations, and best practices.
Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Experience using POS and ability to learn new systems.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
2+ years of experience in service industry preferred
Prior restaurant supervisory experience preferred
Physical Requirements/Environment/Working Conditions
This job operates predominantly in a restaurant environment requiring extensive standing for up to 8 hours.
Exposure to heat, smoke, cold.
Must have the ability to sit and stand; exhibit manual dexterity to use equipment; see and read printed material with or without vision aids; communicate so that others may understand clearly; physical ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds; to bend, to stoop, to walk and to reach overhead.
Must have high level of mobility/flexibility. Bending, reaching, walking
