Are you a badass, experienced, creative cook/chef who can run a kitchen, write or collaborate on menus and manage a team? Do you want to see your food from seed to plate? Are you looking to align your life and cooking with your values? My name is Dunstan and I own The Hummingbird Center in rural NH. We are 1 year old and are situated on 200 acres with orchards, gardens, greenhouses and woodlands. We are a one of a kind destination restaurant with the ability to write menus with ingredients that are changing weekly on the property from a total of 96 (last count) edible plants. I am looking for a number 2 who can help me with all aspects of running the restaurant side of things. Like I said, this is our first year as a restaurant (2 months open) and people are coming from all over already to eat the food, word of mouth has spread fast. I didn’t think I was going to need high caliber back up until next season but I need it now. ARE YOU THAT PERSON? Do you want to come and live in a community of people that take “farm to table” to the next level and are seeking to offer people more than just a meal, but a chance to be nourished by food that is the most nutrient dense and healing possible? I have housing available year and this can be either a year round or seasonal position but I am hoping for a longer term commitment if possible and it all goes well.
