Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dietary Manager to oversee our dietary department and ensure the provision of high-quality nutritional services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the dietary needs of our patients, implementing health coaching programs, and supervising the dietary staff.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine appropriate dietary plans
- Manage the dietary department, including menu planning and food preparation
- Provide health coaching to patients on proper nutrition and dietary habits
- Demonstrate leadership by supervising and training dietary staff
- Utilize physiology knowledge to create specialized diet plans
- Oversee budgeting for food supplies and kitchen operations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines in an assisted living environment
Skills:
- Experience in managing a dietary department
- Ability to provide health coaching and guidance on dietary habits
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Knowledge of budgeting processes related to food services
- Previous experience in an assisted living facility is a plus
