Veterinary Emergency and Surgery Hospital of Brentwood is now seeking an Overnight Veterinary Assistant for our busy 24 hour emergency hospital.
Our Veterinary Assistants are responsible for the general cleanliness and organization of the hospital. They assist our Veterinarians and Technicians with laboratory tests, surgical preparation, reception duties and patient care.
Some prior small-animal care experience is preferred but not required in a veterinary hospital setting. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Candidates should be self-motivated, dependable and possess a strong work ethic. You must be organized, comfortable in a fast paced environment, have excellent verbal and written skills, and be able to work well as a team. One also must possess excellent customer service skills.
This is a part-time overnight position. The hours are 10pm-8am, but may vary. Rotating weekend shifts required. Possibility of full-time in the future.
