Currently interviewing for part-time psychometrist for a small neuropsychology practice in Dover, NH.
Bachelor's degree required.
Background in psychology or neuroscience preferred, but not necessarily required for the right candidate.
The psychometrist will work 1-2 days per week primarily conducting direct cognitive tests with patients across the lifespan, ranging from children through geriatrics. Direct test administration involves a high degree of organization, planning, time management, and interpersonal skills. The psychometrist will receive training, participate in shadowing, and engage in self-study practice prior to independent work. The appropriate candidate will need to be comfortable accepting direct and constructive feedback, managing novel situations and interactions, maintaining a high standard of care and concern for patients and the work, and paying very close attention to detail. Psychometrist must be very reliable.
In addition to direct patient interaction, the psychometrist will assist in scoring testing materials and other supportive tasks, such as coordinating information with patients and families, keeping track of cases, ordering, and other duties deemed appropriate.
Part-time, hours from 8-4pm likely 1-2 days per week in-person, with possible opportunity for more hours over time.
