Maintenance tech for a 96-unit apartment complex. This position could be a steppingstone into the retiring manager's position. Looking for someone that can perform a turnover on a vacant apartment. Job includes patching walls, painting, cleaning, any maintenance, shampooing carpets and all that's needed to make the apartment looks its very best for a new resident. Manager will stay on to train the qualified applicant to all duties on managing this apartment complex. Starting with any and all jobs, maintenance and duties pertinent to the property. This job has On-call duties. Duties include turnovers, once a week cleaning of the hallways and laundry rooms, running a snowblower, pool maintenance, repair or replacement of toilets, faucets, light fixtures, hot water tanks, stoves, dishwashers, refrigerators, and inwall a/c units. Also, will need to have the ability with 1 other person to bring up to the third floor all above appliances. Property has no gas, central a/c or elevators to maintain. Will need to have basic hand tools, most other tools are owned by the property.
