JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced insulation installer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of insulation assistants. This role requires an individual who has excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of various insulation materials and installation techniques, and a commitment to safety and quality. The successful candidate will possess a combination of technical knowledge, analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
Responsible for developing and maintaining a working knowledge of the services provided by NAS. Will successfully apply their understanding to addressing customer needs, improving customer journeys, and ensuring consistent brand experiences for all NAS entities.
LEADERSHIP
Has supervisory duties and responsibilities within NAS’s insulation assistants, in overseeing the efficient completion of insulation projects while ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to company standards. Must provide excellent leadership and communication skills along with substantial knowledge of various insulation materials and installation techniques.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Supervises onsite work, ensuring timely and quality completion of insulation projects. Communicate with other site personnel, such as contractors and subcontractors.
INSULATION INSTALLATION
Responsible for the efficient install of insulation materials including batts, spray foam, and blown-in insulation in walls, floors, and attics.
OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit. Provide operational support for the company as required or requested by other appropriate supervisors and/or administrators.
QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE
Educational Background & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED Required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the weatherization/ insulation industry or a related field.
Certifications:
Lead Paint RRP Certification
Building Performance Institute (BPI) certification
OSHA 30 Certification
DOT Medical Card
Technical Knowledge:
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
Proficient in using project management software and tools.
Understanding of local building codes and safety regulations related to insulation installation.
Extensive knowledge of various insulation types (e.g., fiberglass, foam, cellulose) and installation techniques.
Ability to read work descriptions and set tasks for insulation assistants.
SKILLS
Familiarity with different types of insulation materials (e.g., fiberglass, spray foam, cellulose, rigid board) and their respective applications.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to lead a team and manage projects.
Time management and organizational skills.
Strong customer service and client management skills.
ABILITIES
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for travel to/from client sites.
