Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, experienced Land Keeper / Equipment Operator to manage and maintain the security and upkeep of private land. This is a full-time, hands-on role that includes operating heavy machinery, maintaining the landscape, and performing various land and property maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the security and overall condition of the land and surrounding property
Operate and maintain heavy equipment including tractors and excavators
Perform tree cutting, brush clearing, and basic forestry tasks
Assist with minor land development tasks, such as drainage control, fencing, and road/path upkeep
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of tools and equipment
Report any safety or security concerns on the land
Requirements:
Proven experience operating tractors, excavators, and other land maintenance machinery
Ability to cut and manage trees safely and effectively (chainsaw experience required)
Strong understanding of land security and property protection
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in landscaping, forestry, or land management
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
