We are Lumen Nature Retreat, a year-round glamping hotel destination located in North Woodstock, NH in the heart of the White Mountains and we are currently seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Housekeeping Associate.
Compensation starts at $20 - $22 / hour, based on prior experience. Plus tips.
This is a part-time position 20-25h a week.
Working days: 4-5 days a week (must be available to work on Fridays and Sundays, as well as a few hours in the evenings between 8 PM and 10 PM, 2-3 times a week).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
== Units Cleaning ==
Clean and prepare the units after every guest check-out to make sure they are ready for our upcoming guests, ensuring a 5-star guest experience in cleanliness
Clear out/clean firepits after every check-out.
Dust/clean external furniture on the sites after every check-out.
Remove trash from individual campsites and dispose of it in the central location.
Report maintenance issues and help to fix them when it is possible.
Report damages made by guests.
== Common Areas Cleaning ==
Clean the shared bathhouse.
Replenish bathhouse supplies to make sure they are always available for guests.
Empty all trash cans several times a day.
Perform monthly deep cleans following our cleaning checklists.
Report maintenance issues making sure everything operates correctly during all times.
Clean the common saunas in the property.
== Supplies & Inventory ==
Keep the supplies storage/shelves area as organized as possible, maintaining the proper labeling system for storing the supplies.
Submit inventory requests to restock supplies and make sure we don’t run out of them.
== Compensation & Scheduling ==
$20 - $22 / hour, based on prior experience. Plus tips.
Part Time position.
Typically 20-25 hours/week. (If interested the position could become Full-time during the summer)
Year-round operations: We offer stability and a steady source of work with the opportunity to build a long-term working relationship.
Location: The position is in North Woodstock, NH. (We don't offer housing)
== Desired Competencies & Skills ==
High School diploma.
2 years of Housekeeping experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively in a professional tone.
Receptive to constructive feedback and ability to apply improvement action plans.
Attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must have reliable transportation.
Good understanding of navigating phone applications.
