Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and fixing commercial level heating, cooling, and ventilation systems at TURBOCAM facilities. This position, at times, will coordinate and work with external HVAC contractors depending on project size and timeline for completion.
Come Build with Us by:
-Installing new heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
-Inspecting current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety.
-Adhering to and performing preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity and increase uptime.
-Conducting performance tests to ensure optimum efficiency.
-Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems. Verify repairs corrected malfunctions.
-Assisting with and maintaining accurate inventory of all HVAC related equipment and resources.
-Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and OSHA.
-Performing emergency repairs as needed during off hours.
-Acting as a member on the on call team.
-Performing other duties as necessary.
Bring Your Expertise:
-High School diploma or GED equivalent.
-Certification or Associate’s degree from an HVAC program or technical school required.
-2+ years as an HVAC technician preferably with commercial level systems in a large facility environment.
-Proficient in reading blueprints and schematic work plans.
-Certification through the EPA to handle refrigerants.
-Intermediate level in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and Epicor maintenance software.
-Strong verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex issues to internal customers and contractors.
-Must possess valid driver’s license from his/her state of residence.
-Must be willing to work odd hours during emergencies to ensure limited system failures and downtime.
-Must be able to lift 50 pounds in a safe manner and request assistance when
-Must be able to climb in and out of small places; crawl around machinery.
-Must have range of motion sufficient to permit climbing stairs and ladders, walking, standing, stooping and crouching
for extended periods while performing duties.
