Maintenance Technician - Dover, NH:

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for tasks related to the cleaning, repair, upkeep and safety of the facility as well as the movement of goods in production. This position requires demanding physical work. Must be able to troubleshoot and repair production equipment and perform preventative maintenance throughout the facility.

Job Functions:

Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.

Work with production to design and build fixtures.

Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches, for basic carpentry, landscaping.

Painting where needed inside and outside the facility.

Responsible for cleaning inside and outside the facility and removal of trash.

Direct outside contractors when necessary.

Materials Handling.

Follow health and safety rules, policies, and procedures for work area and takes responsibility to assure that personal work activity is conducted in such a way so as to not affect the safety of themselves or others.

All other duties as assigned.

Skills:

Knowledge of tools.

Must be able to take direction and report results back in a concise manner.

The ability to understand direction and work independently.

Basic computer skills needed.

Required Experience:

General maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Physical Demands:

Occasionally lifts or moves equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.

Must be able to Ascend/Descend, work atop ladders and equipment.

Must be able to Sit, Stand, Walk, Climb, Stoop, Kneel.
