Our steel manufacturing client is seeking a Manager of Operations for their northern New Hampshire operation. Reporting to the VP of Operations, the hired candidate will take on the following responsibilities:
· Manage 3 shop foreman, material handler, head of maintenance and admin support person as well as 25 indirect fabrication staff.
· Plan/schedule machinery and production operations
· Oversea fleet and building maintenance
· Manage budgeting process for site
· Work with hiring managers and staffing firms to ensure staffing levels are met
· Oversea all non-manufacturing site operations
Requirements
· A minimum of 5 years experience in operations management
· strong knowledge of structural steel, miscellaneous metals and welding procedures.
· familiarity with the AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) standard code of practice
· CWI preferred.
· Technically savvy(ADP, StruMIS, Raptor, MicroSoft, Fabtrol),
