An innovative manufacturing facility working on cutting edge devices, is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Quality Inspector to ensure that products meet established standards and specifications by identifying defects and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role is vital for maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements and Essential Functions:
Experience performing visual and mechanical inspection.
Experience sampling techniques or equivalent.
You must have experience interpreting inspection procedures, drawings, and instructions
Experience using mechanical equipment that may include but not limited to Optical comparator, CMM, micrometers, pin gages, etc.
Work with Quality Engineers to collect data and drive nonconformance resolution.
Education and Experience:
H.S. Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a quality inspector. 5+ years desired
Prior experience in medical device and or electro-mechanical assembly is preferred
Must be able to work under a microscope and using tweezers for small parts.
Prior experience working with an ERP/MRP system (SAP, InforXA, ExactMax, etc.)
Prior experience working in an ISO9001, AS9100, or ISO13485 environment
Prior experience handling/disposition of non-conforming material a plus
Hours:
You will have every other Friday off. This is a 9/80 work-schedule.
2nd Shift: Mon. – Thurs. 3pm to 12:30 am / Friday 3pm to 11:30 pm with alternating Friday’s off.
