We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are shipped on time and in accordance with company policies. This includes packing items securely, labeling packages correctly, and verifying the accuracy of orders before they are shipped. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving, be able to lift heavy items, and have a strong attention to detail. Must have strong computer skills with ERP experience.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
Pack goods for shipment in accordance with company standards.
Create BOL's.
Ensure that all shipments are properly labeled and documented.
Maintain records of shipments, including weight, size, and destination.
Inspect shipments for accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
