We are looking for a Waterjet Operator/Technician to join our team. Whether you are an experienced operator or eager to learn, we offer training and growth opportunities for the right candidate. The role involves cutting a variety of materials, including Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium, to meet aerospace industry standards. Familiarity with OMAX machines a plus.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain CNC waterjet cutting machines.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Set up materials for cutting and ensure accuracy.
Cut and process Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium with precision.
Ensure all parts meet Drawing and aerospace quality standards.
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues.
Perform routine maintenance and ensure machine efficiency.
Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
Qualifications:
Experience with CNC waterjet cutting or a willingness to learn.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings (preferred but not required)
Strong attention to detail and precision
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (preferred but not required)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
