Grassroots Voter Outreach is immediately hiring passionate and motivated people in the Manchester area to build support for urgent environmental campaigns in New Hampshire. For over a decade Grassroots Voter Outreach has been on the front lines of progressive change. We design and run ground-breaking outreach campaigns and work with the top national progressive political groups and nonprofits. Canvassing experience is not necessary, but you must be passionate about educating members of the public about the environment.We Provide:
$20/hour
Paid Training
Work with supportive teamsFunctions of the Job:
Present the campaign message to members of the public, garnering petition signatures
Recruit petition signers to take further volunteer actions on the campaign
Build individual interest in fighting climate change, and our specific campaign
Respond to questions and objections in a positive and professional mannerQualifications:
Dedication to fighting climate change and building a fairer economy
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work outdoors, walk and stand for long periods of times
Available to work evening hours and on Saturday mornings
Pay starts at $20/hour
