Candidate will assume responsibility for customer retention, service, service metrics, cost and profitability of the west Lebanon operation. This individual fulfills responsibilities primarily through effective personnel management, strong communication, and knowledge of operations. Candidate must be able to meet customer's service goals and established performance and scanning metrics on a daily basis. Candidate must be capable of managing 35+ employees and contractors. Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Hires, trains and monitors the performance of the West Lebanon employees by setting clear performance goals.
·Responsible for monitoring, advising, and managing the West Lebanon management team. Communicating and assisting to accomplish clearly defined performance, service and safety goals.
Establishing a safety culture that prevents accidents and injuries by following proper safety SOP's
Meets all service goals, by managing the daily SOP's.
Ensures that all employees understand company policies, procedures, delivery methods, and established practices.
Manages all routes to determine the most efficient means of servicing our customers.
Communicating frequently and effectively with the main office, direct reports and each of the support functions to ensure a smooth operation.
Constantly evaluating route structure by auditing and taking corrective action to meet established standards and route times.
Monitor the driver hours and schedule accordingly to avoid all unnecessary overtime.
Have a set plan and implement the plan for continuous improvement.
Be available at all times to assist with questions or problems that may arise in the operation. Address all customer complaints professionally and promptly to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Must be a team leader.
Must have a minimum of 3 years supervising experience, transportation experience is very helpful but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Salary range is $45,000 to $55,000
