Bird’s Nest Auctions is a woman-owned business based in Londonderry, NH, with the mission of helping people liquidate household contents quickly and easily.
An opening is currently available for a Photographer. This position is for hours as needed during the week. Ideal candidates are looking for bonus money (not full-time income). Hours will typically be on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Additional work-from-home hours are available if you would also like to catalog photos using our auction software.
The job involves going to client homes, within an hour radius of Londonderry, to assist with photography of the items in the house; everything from furniture to china cabinet contents to sheds and garages. Working as a team, we process hundreds of items in a client’s home. Attention to detail is an absolute must - our buyers rely on us to take quality photos since they are not able to view the items themselves. The ideal candidate can take great photos quickly, while maintaining our quality standards. An interest in vintage and antiques is helpful, as much of the items we sell fall into this category.
Photographers must have their own iPhone. All other supplies are provided.

- the ability to focus, stay on task and organize and sort large volumes of items
- proficiency with iPhone
- Ability to work quickly (not expected from day 1, but efficiency is an important attribute since we are processing a lot of items in a short amount of time).
If you can hit the ground running and enjoy a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you! Please note that this position does require lifting boxes, bending down and standing for long periods of time. You will be spending time in basements, garages and sheds (in addition to the main house). We work year-round, and some sites involve working outside.
